Just the Two of Us

It is just the two of us this weekend, so watch out! We having been having so much fun! I feel like Super Mom! But...we cannot wait for Daddy to get home!
We went to meet Wes and go swimming in Jacksonville this past weekend. The two had a blast on the mini water slide! The picture is really foggy because there was a constant mist from the water park.
Last Sunday we headed down to Hampton for Lyle's birthday party. The crew had fun playing in the bubbles, riding on the mini four-wheelers, and petting the horses.

Celebrating Four Years at Big Cedar Lodge

Matt surprised me and took us to Big Cedar Lodge for our four year anniversary. It was beyond gorgeous and we plan to make a return trip. The lodge sits on Table Rock Lake and has just about anything that you would like to do on the Lodge grounds. We enjoyed breakfast a bakery each morning on the grounds and then we went into Branson Saturday night to watch Noah.

It was nice to have a weekend to just the two of us, but we did find ourselves talking about Caroline most of the time! We both know that the most important thing is a strong marriage. I love you Matt! Here is to four years and many more to come!

July and August Weekends

We got to see Daddy fly this weekend! Always a joy! For the first time, Caroline was scared and hugged my neck extremely tight and repeated, "It scare me Mommy." She is into this new thing where she will definitely let you know if she is scared. She is scared of motorcycles, stuffed animals that sing, sleeping cows, and blackhawk helicopters. The majority is due to loud sound.

MiMi has been on youth trips the past few weeks, so Grandma Etta came into town to babysit and help with Caroline. We had a grand time with the Guinn Family throughout the week....and I think Zoe had a grand time as well. One night we went to Lemon Tree after dinner, and Caroline had an entire cup of ice cream and then Aunt Karen treated her to just a little more.

Oh my!

We met the Evan's crew at Wonder Place one Saturday morning. The sand pit was the big hit!




We made another trip to Jonesboro to have a dress altered and I got to see Holly, one of my best friends. I had to show the next few pictures so you can see the size of one of their dogs. Huge, but so loveable! Caroline loved the dogs and John's collection of transformers.
