Everyday Fun

We just love life around here...loads of everyday fun!  Time goes by so quick!  I just wanted to share a few snapshots from this week so you can see what most weeks are like around the Ritchie house.

1) Wyatt had both 12 month check-ups this week.  He had his ACH appointment in the morning, which lasted three hours, and his regular check-up that afternoon.  By the time we had finished both appointments, had blood taken, and had 3 immunizations we were beyond exhausted!  He went through a lot in one day, but was still grinning from ear to ear when we were ready to leave.  He is a bundle of joy.  He is helping with a nutrition study at Children's and with his reward he is given free diapers....I hope we never have to purchase diapers!

2)  This girl loves to play baby dolls.  Saturday is not complete without a baby doll play date.  

3. Wyatt's new favorite thing to do is throw things away in the trash can.  How helpful?!?! Until he starts throwing away things we need.

5) We are still taking gymnastics at Leah's but have recently switched to a tumble class.  Caroline is so little compared to the other girls (she is in the pink at the front left of the pic).  She is still loving each minute, and when I look down at the preschool gym I am reminded of how far we have come!

Christmas with the Ritchie's

 We had our last Christmas gathering this past weekend.  We gathered with the extended family and Wyatt made a new friend.  Babies are always the highlight of the party.

Wyatt and Caroline were excited to see Addison and Whitley during the Christmas break.  Addison says in a few years she is going to come stay the summer break with us and babysit Wyatt.  I think we can make an even trade and send Caroline down to Yazoo City for the summer also;)

Christmas at the Guinn's

 Christmas at the Guinn's was fun as always.  Mimi's homemade cinnamon rolls were the best they have ever been and MiMi filled our stockings full or fun and unique gifts.  She works all year to find unique gifts for the stockings. It is always a treat to stay in our pajamas!

Santa Came...

 Santa came to visit our house on Christmas morning!  We had two sweet kiddos that awoke to find something special for them in the living room. He brought Caroline a new bike and Wyatt a new blue car!  Wyatt's reaction was priceless!  He went straight to the push car and was so excited!  He kept admiring it and looking at it with excitement!  He knew it was just for him!
