-We have been to a few birthday parties. The picture below was taken at Dawson's 4th Birthday party.
- We have started running. You heard me correct. This girl is running! We are running with the Couch to 5K app, which I highly recommend if you plan on running. We mainly run close to the house, but on longer days we can make it to Little Rock to run on one of the bridges. The picture below was taken at Twin Rivers Bridge after our run.
- We lost a flip flop yesterday from the Junction Bridge. A foam flip-flop in the Arkansas River will break any little girl's heart. Thank you Old Navy for having dollar flip-flops.
- I traveled with Kim to Women of Faith in Oklahoma City this year for praise, worship, learning, and renewal. We had a blast!
- Guess who is below? Lysa Terkeurst! We did not make it to the autograph line in time, but I did get to stand within 10 feet of this amazing woman! Check out a couple of her new books; Made to Crave and Unglued....or just read her blog daily. She is full of laughs, truth, and scripture.
- Matt and I helped plan the dental supply table at Dare to Share this year. Our church served over 600 dental kits, backpacks, school supplies, clothes, hair-cuts, school physicals, and hygiene kits this year to students of our community. That is the church!
- Matt and I celebrated our 6th anniversary this year with a mini getaway in Rogers/Bentonville area. We spent one morning at the Crystal Bridges Museum. Below is my favorite piece of art. Not a man...a piece of art.
- Caroline spent a week in Ravenden/Hardy with her great-grandparents and came home with a new pair of running shoes. Training for the 5k (Caroline calls it 5Fk) takes good running shoes.
-Below is a photo of the first day of school
- Caroline was part of the Praise and Worship Sunday morning during church. The children entertained us with their songs from this Summer.
- We are headed to the beach soon! Our trip is just around the corner!
- We spent the day yesterday enjoying time as a family. It is nice to get out and enjoy time in town just the three of us with nothing on the agenda but a little fun time! We went to the Game and Fish center downtown, and made the alligator feeding.
-Enjoyed sitting on a bench in the shade, while laughing and admiring Caroline during her time on the splash pad.
Happy Summer to you! Enjoy your weekend!
