Acadia National Park-Day 1

Location:Exploring Fort Knox and Observatory

We stayed the night in Scarborough Maine and went to visit Lenny, the World's largest life size chocolate Moose, tried out a local seafood restaurant, and a donut shoppe with potato donuts.

Highlight of the tour was seeing a home that George Washington used to come visit. Most of the homes were in the original location also.

On our second day of vacation we enjoyed having breakfast at the Friendly Toast and visiting the USS Albacore. This was the first visit to a submarine for the kids.
