July and August Weekends

We got to see Daddy fly this weekend! Always a joy! For the first time, Caroline was scared and hugged my neck extremely tight and repeated, "It scare me Mommy." She is into this new thing where she will definitely let you know if she is scared. She is scared of motorcycles, stuffed animals that sing, sleeping cows, and blackhawk helicopters. The majority is due to loud sound.

MiMi has been on youth trips the past few weeks, so Grandma Etta came into town to babysit and help with Caroline. We had a grand time with the Guinn Family throughout the week....and I think Zoe had a grand time as well. One night we went to Lemon Tree after dinner, and Caroline had an entire cup of ice cream and then Aunt Karen treated her to just a little more.

Oh my!

We met the Evan's crew at Wonder Place one Saturday morning. The sand pit was the big hit!




We made another trip to Jonesboro to have a dress altered and I got to see Holly, one of my best friends. I had to show the next few pictures so you can see the size of one of their dogs. Huge, but so loveable! Caroline loved the dogs and John's collection of transformers.

Wedding Pictures

Caroline and I were in the Vaughan-Barrett wedding this past weekend. I did not take any pictures with my camera, but the wedding is featured on the Wedding Post of Arkansas. Jensen and Caroline

Caroline and I traveled to Searcy to keep Jensen last weekend. This was the first time I had taken Caroline with me while babysitting. They were angels! They both took a nap at the same time and Caroline was such a big help with Jensen. Caroline loves to hug Jensen, but Jensen does not know what to think about someone constantly hugging her.

I did realize that I am just fine with one child at the moment. For now...Caroline will get all of the love.

Memphis-Day 2

We had breakfast Sunday morning and then headed to the Children's Museum in Memphis. We did not realize just how much Caroline would enjoy the museum, but she glowed with excitement the entire time.

Just like Mommy...she is showing her patient how to brush the back of the tongue;)

She would have stayed in Kroger all day. The workers give the children fake money and they can shop and then check-out at the register. Caroline adored it!

Sunday evening we went to Beale Street and to ride the trolley downtown.




After spending the afternoon downtown, we headed over to Mud Island to watch fireworks for July 4th.
