San Antonio- Day 3
We began our third day of vacation this morning on the River Walk in San Antonio. The River Walk consists of rich history, restaurants, shopping, and relaxation. Below are our family pictures from the walk...we will be going back downtown tonight for dinner.

The River Walk is a stunning walk that is miles long. We learned lots of facts today on our riverboat cruise. The river is mainly four to ten feet deep and mostly a concrete bottom. If you are planning on going to visit San Antonio it is a must! It feels like you are in a little Italy. Below are pictures from the walk and our cruise.
Stunning
The picture below shows the main success to the River Walk. Our tour guide told us that other places in the country would like to imitate the walk, but they cannot work out a flood system. At any time the city can block the river or use the underground water system that was set in place. This saves hundred of restaurants, shops, and attractions from flooding. She was the tour guides biggest fan...as you can see she soaked up the knowledge.

This is our view from the revolving restaurant at the top of the tower. The food and view was a wonderful treat!
We are blessed with a beautiful daughter, Caroline Ainsley, who turned six in September, and a wonderful son, Wyatt Matthew, who turned one in December.
